When ovaries become dysfunctional, they can produce an excess of estrogen, which causes more fat. This fat is deposited on “saddlebag” thighs, the lower stomach and the buttocks. The lower stomach fat usually shows up just below the bellybutton as a bulge.
Ovary Body Type
This particular body type reveals saddle bags on the outside of the thighs, larger hips, but with a small, normal size waist, fat accumulation just below the belly button. As in the picture above, there are 3 stages of change. Obviously, the overly developed hips and thighs with cellulite are found in the last stages, but can be corrected and reversed. Finding jeans and slacks to fit are difficult as the waist always has to be altered. Not fun shopping for clothes! The problem here is the hormones estrogen and progesterone, hormones produced in the ovaries.
These hormones are in a state of imbalance. You find that you are continuing to gain weight in your hips, suffer from problems associated with your cycle, pain, even heavy bleeding and cramping. You have irregular periods and may suffer from irritability and moodiness. If you are menopausal add vaginal dryness, hot flashes and a decreased libido. Your cravings are more from the dairy products, like cottage cheese, cheese cake, sour cream, ice cream, cream cheese and other creamy foods. Sugar has a toxic effect on your body. The answer is not diet foods and foods containing aspartame. You must understand what the extra hormones are doing to your fat cells. It is a vicious cycle.
Sugar is the trigger for the Ovary Body Type. Unfortunately, the added sugar leads to more cellulite and the breakdown of muscle proteins. Sugar has a toxic effect on our bodies, but especially the Ovary Body Type.
