Liver Body Fat

What it is: Your liver is a 3-pound organ under your right rib cage that filters toxins and helps digest your food. Liver types typically have thin legs and a protruding belly. These types have a condition called ascites, which is essentially the liver leaking a plasma-like fluid into the sac that sits just above FARMAID/our intestines.  Because the liver type has this belly pooch, people often equate them to having a fat stomach, but in reality, they actually have low body fat. Even if the person is 300 pounds, if most that weight in their tummy, a lot of it could be fluid. People always incorrectly assume that all weight is equated to fat, when it isn’t  When you detoxify your body, the toxins will be removed from your body so that you can begin to get healthy. You cannot lose weight and keep it off unless you are healthy. Many people who have used this program find that they are no longer plagued with chronic health issues after detoxification, body type diet and the proper exercise. Getting healthy is the greatest long term benefit.

How do hormones play a role in body health? A hormone is a chemical messenger in the human body. Hormones are produced by endocrine glands in small amounts, released into the bloodstream and carried to other parts of the body, where they cause specific changes in body function. The endocrine system can get damaged by the insult of years of consuming excess sugar, low calorie diets and exposure to toxic chemicals, which can disrupt or block glandular function. Over or underproduction of hormones and disrupted communications can contribute to extensive alteration of body functions.

Various body shapes can develop from improperly functioning glands or organs, as described below. Keep in mind that many people may express a combination of these body types.

Liver Body Type

In this particular body type, you experience weight gain and protrusion of the gut.  This body type is more common in men that women.  The lower abdomen may be large and pendulous, commonly referred to as “pot belly”.  Actually, this is from fluid build up from the liver.  The toxins found in this body type actually accumulate and to the touch, the stomach feels firm and hard.  This is not muscle it is fluid that has accumulated in the tissues and hardened over time.
The stages of Liver Body Type are fueled by the increase in appetite and cravings.  You crave fried  foods, unfortunately, the liver has difficulty metabolizing them.  The Liver Body Type experiences digestive problems such as acid reflux, heartburn, and bloating.  You may find that you are not eating any vegetables.  The Liver Body Type often craves meals of junk food, alcohol and sodas.  Your body feels the effects of the large abdomen with aches and pains, sometimes around the shoulder.  Your cholesterol and blood pressure are often a problem.  You may even notice the whites of your eyes being bloodshot or yellow.

Triggers

If you have Liver Body Type, your triggers are junk foods, alcohol, fried foods and soft drinks.  Your consumption of vegetables is very little to none.  Your cravings just cause you to gain more and more weight.

 

What it means: In healthy individuals, blood sugar naturally rises in the morning due to hormonal changes, but after fasting overnight, liver types inevitably wake up with low blood sugar—and irritability. They also have digestive problems such as gas and heartburn after they eat because of their sluggish digestive juices. This means food is not broken down thoroughly, and if bile isn’t released, the person will feel unsatisfied and crave quick carb energy.
